The following is from a recent email we received from Tanya....
" I don't know if I told you, but I grew up on Oahu (Punchbowl) and left when I was 12. This was my first trip back in over 40 years and your spot in Waimanalo was just what I had dreamed my return visit would be--an unspoiled location without tourists and hotels and best of all, on the beach. I wasn't sure it existed after all these years and I was told by my relatives, who still live there, that Waimanalo was not a good place to stay. I'm so glad I didn't listen to them because I would have missed the best part of our trip. We will be back, I just don't know when yet.
A hui hou, Tanya
PS: Your website is great. I did a lot of searching before making my reservation and the pictures and descriptions of each of the locations just called to me. I think you have a lot to offer the traveler who is not afraid to explore rather that take tours and cruises and miss the heart of Hawaii, it's people. I met a very nice fisherman on the beach and we had a nice conversation about Oahu and also a woman who stopped, took our picture and we talked about New Jersey where she was from."
