“A little Hawaii retreat.”

Ana's place is the perfect little Hawaii retreat. We got a very local laid back feel, what we look for when we visit Hawaii. The house is very cute and charming. The property was nice too and private...the house is set back from the street. It's only a few houses from our favorite swimming beach. It's also close to a cute local co-op, weekend roadside malasadas, and some great quick bites Hawaiian style. We highly recommend the coconut cottage for your peaceful island stay. Very nice!

“Living almost like a local.”

What a glorious week spent living almost like a local. Enjoyed waking up to the birds, and being able to walk to the beach to enjoy the sunrise, a cup of coffee, beach coming and a morning dip...and then an afternoon dip, afternoon walk and beach coming while enjoying the sunset. Mahalo nui loa!

“Beach is Beautiful”

Love Ana’s cottage! Hoping to stay there again, in the future. Beach is beautiful, peaceful, and right down the street. . Love the large front yard and quietness. Great location to visit other areas of the island, as well. Ana is super quick with responses too!

“A welcome retreat and quiet refuge”

Ana’s place is a private bungalow, a welcome retreat and quiet refuge. We loved landing here and just having us and the beach to enjoy without the crowds. Kitchen is well stocked, and Ana and her family are responsive with requests. We were coming in so late we asked for some groceries to be picked up (ordered by us with Whole Foods) and were so glad to have that taken care of so we could just ground in. The beach is safe and gentle - perfect for kids and swimmers. Longs walks available! Bed is a little hard, though I’m pregnant so always am needing extra comfort. Ana was happy to add some pillows which really made the stay for my aching body. Will return when we can, and felt very lucky to have found surf sweet. PS the 5 day minimum is actually exactly what any busy person needs to unwind, so don’t worry about that and just let yourself sink in. Lots to explore around the island with surf sweet as a quite and simply lovely home base. Mahalo!

“Escape the hustle and bustle”

If you truly want to blend into the Hawaiian landscape then this is the house for you! Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and stay here! Our host, Ana, was available if needed. She supplied our family with fresh eggs and helpful suggestions for local hangouts. The beach was a quick jaunt to the most amazing sunrises, surfing, and boogie boarding. Two miles down the road provided some awesome snorkeling experiences which included turtle sightings. This was the perfect location for a relaxing vacation!
